AWAH Z2 multifunctional pulley lifting test

AWAH Z2 is a multifunctional pulley under the brand AWAH, which integrates a one-way pulley, an electric lifting device, and a gentle lowering device, can be connected to a handheld drill to provide lifting power, and is used to efficiently assist in lifting and lowering goods or personnel.

To verify the improvement performance of the AWAH Z2 multifunctional pulley, we conducted the following tests for your reference.

I. Basic Information

Test Date: January 25, 2023
Test Environment: Weifang, Shandong, −4 ℃
Tester: Zhang Lingzhi (Casarte Air Conditioner Gold‑Certified Installation Engineer)
Weight: 95 kg
Rope: EN 1891 Type A rope, diameter 10.5 mm

II. Test Records

Three Devon electric drills were used for the test. Brand‑new batteries at full charge were adopted (full charge shown as 4 bars; flashing battery light indicates power depletion). The test results are listed below.

(I) Devon 5298 (50 Nm, 20 V / 5.0 Ah)

（二）Devon 5203（90 Nm, 20 V / 5.0 Ah）

（三）Devon 5282（120 Nm, 20 V / 5.0 Ah）

（四）Devon 5282（120 Nm, 20V / 8.0 Ah）

III. Result Analysis

Based on the above tests, we can make a reasonable estimation:

1. At an ambient temperature of −4 ℃, the Devon 5282 equipped with a 20 V / 5.0 Ah battery and connected to an AWAH Z2 multi‑functional pulley can lift a 100 kg load to a height of approximately 100 meters.
2. As the ambient temperature rises, battery performance improves and the achievable lifting height increases.

We recommend cordless drills with a torque range of 50–150 Nm as power tools. Drills with lower torque cannot lift heavy loads, while higher‑torque drills have greater self‑weight and deliver relatively lower battery utilization efficiency.
